I need to start posting more often. I have been designing a few thing lately and need to stitch them up. I also have a few WIP's that I need to finish up. I started working on Croakworth from Ink Circles. I am really happy with how it is going.

WIP's for 2012

I seem to have start'itis. I think I have started 4 projects in the last couple weeks. I started a couple of smalls from Blackbird designs and I have started the Winter Goddess from L. Teare from the latest World of Cross Stitch Magazine. It was so much work getting all my DMC organized so I wouldn't buy any more doubles. I guess my resolution this year is to stop wasting money on things I "may" have sitting somewhere at home. I have been trying to organize quite a bit of my craft supplies at home. Getting the DMC done was a big step and I really am proud of myself until I see that I have purchased #310 8 times for different projects. I have a lot of the more popular colors that are like that.

Anywho, that is what is on my mind...what project I want to stitch on. The blackbird designs keep calling my name, but I have so many of them stitched up just sitting in a zip lock bag. No idea how to finish them yet....I need to watch some more youtube videos on finishing methods. I like the idea of finishing all the smalls into pin cushions and keeping them in a big bowl as a decoration, but I know my kids would not leave them alone and I shudder to think of them ending up on the floor for the dogs to chew on.
